AWARD-WINNING RENOVATIONS

FOUNDED IN 2018

"They are the people you want for your renovation/building project."

DESIGN + REMODEL COMPANY

We believe old houses are worth saving. The right way – with a strong eye for traditional design elements, a thoughtful layout, meticulous planning, and uncompromising attention to detail. With that spirit in mind – and an abundance of old houses in need of saving – we founded Greater Roofing in 2003. We have a particular affinity for Craftsman, Mid-Century Modern, and Victorian-era styles homes, and have had the pleasure of renovating many houses in historic neighborhoods.

Our Approach

Our approach is part renovation, part restoration – a carefully planned amalgamation of two distinctly different worlds. Yet we carefully blend the best of both by preserving original architectural details where possible while adding space, function, and utility where needed. The result? An old house reborn. Revived. Reinvented. Once again enchanting and aesthetically captivating, yet entirely contemporary with all the amenities that matter. We are proud that our houses evoke the feeling of new construction without sacrificing the charm and characteristic details of each house’s architectural past.

Our Approach

It takes a talented team of individuals to transform homes and build client relationships as we do here at GreaterRoofing. Meet our award-winning team and learn all about their individual skills and past experience renovating homes.

awards & recognition

GreaterRoofing is a nationally recognized design-build firm, having been awarded several distinctions for our work. We are honored to have received the following prestigious awards.

What is Design-Build?

Design-Build is a full-service construction method where a design-build firm provides both design and construction services. Unlike with the traditional construction method, the designer and contractor are working on the same team, allowing for high levels of collaboration and unified recommendations. With the traditional method, the client has to manage two separate firms, one for design and one for construction. This can cause several issues throughout the process since the designer and contractor are not working on the same team. If there is a disagreement or lack of communication between the two teams, your project could end up being delayed or going over budget. With the design-build method, you will have a dedicated team that will brainstorm and collaborate together to create a beautiful home that you’ll enjoy for years to come.

The design-build method offers many benefits including:

Faster Project Delivery

With the design-build construction method, projects are typically able to be delivered faster because collaboration from the outset usually results in fewer change orders, thus fewer project delays. Together, the designer and contractor can ensure that your home is completed on-time and on-budget no matter what issues may arise.

Smoother Process

The design-build method is a fairly smooth process thanks to the open collaboration between the designer and contractor. Because everyone is working under one contract, there won’t be any conflicting recommendations or scheduling issues.

Reduced Construction Costs

You can actually end up saving money by choosing a design-builder because of their efficiency. With your designer and contractor working side-by-side, you’ll be able to reduce the amount of time it will take to complete construction which will lower your construction costs.

Higher Quality Results

The design-build method provides higher quality results because of the team-oriented approach. With your designer and contractor working together from start to finish, they are able to better align your vision with your project’s goals.
